Researchers warn that paper receipts for only 10 seconds can pose health risks

Health researchers look like an alarm on an endocrine disorder that is usually found in paper receipts, and say that it does not take long to absorb the chemical.

In a statement of April 14, the Environmental Health Center (CEH) announced a rape warning for 32 retailers who allegedly had high levels of bisphenol (BPS) on their receipts.

In the official rape warning of April 11, companies appointed dozens of national corporations.

The organization described the bisphenol S (BPS) as the “lesser -known but harmful chemical cousin in BPA on reception paper”, and described the organic compound as “transmitted hormones”.

“BPS, as [Bisphenol A] … imitates estrogen and can alter the normal functioning of the body, including metabolism, growth and development and reproduction, “the statement said.

“Studies show that BPs can be absorbed through the skin when manipulating reception paper, even during short periods.”

The statement stated that having a BPS receipt for only 10 seconds could have serious health consequences.

“From these studies and evidence of an independent laboratory, the rallies were so high that only a receipt with BPS for 10 seconds involved an exposure above the level of safe port, which requires a clear and reasonable warning to consumers,” said Mohir Vohra, CEH’s science leader.

CEH stated that a lawsuit will be filed against the alleged rapists unless they agree to “provide clear and reasonable warnings” to consumers or “reformulate these products to eliminate BPS exhibitions”.

Retails will also have to pay a “adequate civil penalty”.

The organization advised consumers to reject paper receipts whenever possible.

“Store workers who have to manage receipts must bring gloves if possible or prevent the use of alcohol-based cleansers before handling a receipt, because BPS absorption can significantly increase,” said CEH Senior Director Shakoora Azimi-Gaylon.

“Receipts are made of thermal paper, which should not be recycled because they contain bisphenols such as BPA and BPS, which can contaminate the recycling current and assume risks to health and the environment.”

Fox News Senior Medical Analyst, Dr. Marc Siegel, said that digital receipts are more prevalent than ever.

“We are heading for digital receipts,” said medical expert in Fox News Digital.

Siegel also said that many North -Americans are exposed to Bisphenol in (BPA) without noting it, for example, can be usually found in cases of smartphones, despite not being found on iphones.

The doctor suggested more research on the impact of “forever chemicals”, such as BPS.

“We need to do a better job to document and limit the exhibition.”

BPS has been examined in recent years on its potential to adversely affect people’s health.

By 2021, German researchers found that the chemical compound could “severely damage” human brains after studying their effects on the nerve cells of gold fish.
